Baranagar Udyog is a Kolkata based NGO with 30+ members, mostly young and enthusiastic people who came together to help people in distress and with a pledge of building a healthy, educated and self-sufficient society. Udyog started its journey in 2018 with a handful of young enthusiastic people with a zeal to help others.Within its short span of existence it has successfully organized different welfare projects which directly benefited more than 500 people. We , as a budding NGO and organization , strive to provide long lasting assistance such as education and healthcare by which they can learn to be financially independent and self-sustaining and take care of their aging elders in need of support.From the devastating effect of Lockdown to multiple cyclones Udyog has tried to stand with the people in need and helped them to get back to their normal life. The contribution of Udyog to society is going to increase more and more in the coming years with the hope of building a better tomorrow.
